Using YouTube in CLIL lessons

Have a small group of 3 or 4 students prepare a one-minute clip focusing on an aspect of a lesson. Let them use whatever video recording technology they can find.

Don't tell the rest of the group what the topic is.

It may be a clip which has students in white coats with sticks pointing out the various parts of a cell, their names, structure, function and location. Each student points to two or three different parts in turn, describes what they are, how they are built, what they do, and where they are. 

Have the group upload their clip to YouTube.

Tell the class that they have to find the clip and then report back to the class what they learned from the clip.

The great thing about this is that you don't need to have a TV, or computer and projector in your classroom to use video!
