Physics: An introduction

‘People have always wondered why things behave the way they do’ … this lesson plan looks at how our stories about how the world works have changed with the development of physics. ‘Physics - the new science fiction’ is the second reading text in the form of a report on a speech by a professor of physics about phenomena that scientists have so far been unable to explain. Listening exercises focus on Copernicus and a student project on the Big Bang.
