Using pictures to focus on a logical sequence of events.

Here is an activity taken from Play games with English 2 by Colin Granger:

  • Students put the pictures into the correct order and write the story. Encourage them to link the sentences using:
 and,   but,   then,   next,   after …ing, he …,  etc
