- Language aim: To describe, recognise and name animals
- Time: 15 minutes
- Student grouping: Groups of four
- Materials: One copy of Worksheets 1–2 (printed double-sided) and 3–4 (printed double-sided) per group of four children; a sheet of blank paper and a pencil for each team
- Language focus: Head, tail, legs, neck, body, eyes, ears; adjective + noun: big/small, short/long; lives in grasslands, water, cold places, in the mountains, in a tree, in the jungle; eats fish, bananas, meat, leaves, grass; colours: black, white, brown, yellow, grey, red, blue, green; names of animals
- Aim of the game: To complete the drawing of a giraffe by answering questions about animals correctly
