Objectives:

  • To introduce and provide oral and written practice of the ingredients needed to make pancakes.
  • To provide practice of listening for gist and following instructions.

Materials required: Picture cards (Pancake Day 1: Worksheet 1), procedure cards (Pancake Day 2: Worksheets 1 and 2), pancake ingredients (if possible), thick brown card (e.g. from boxes), tissue paper, glue, glitter, scissors, several frying pans. Pancake Day 4: Worksheets 1 and 2.
